Happy weekend..

 

This is how my brain feels today!  Over packed. bursting at the seams. but always ready for another challenge.  I have gotten to the point were my mind is going one way and my mouth is going another, I have started saying things out of order...  Hello!  See how I am rambling now- so bad.  

Okay now that you know I have hit max capacity, I am heading off to the LA show today to soak up some more design and order pieces for my current projects!!  Yey!

The kitchen island..

 

We are knee deep in our kitchen island remodel and I am hoping that I love it when we finish!  It is hard to feel the love mid project.  I know it will be beautiful but it is a BIG change for the room.  It is just big in general.. bigger than I am used to.  We took out the existing island and added to each side to accommodate more storage and make it more useful in the space.  I am getting excited to see it all completed!

Pops of color and Atlanta bound..

 

I am falling for this look - New Traditional at it's best!  A simple neutral backdrop with pops of color that can be changed out easily.

Things here are moving along quickly..  I have so many things that I would like to share and just not enough time to get them on the blog...  Today I am on my way to Atlanta for the show, this is my first time there so I am super excited!  I hope to see many of you there!  If you want to keep up with me and all of the latest trends I will be posting on Instagram during the show.  Check it out @ newlivingroomsdesignidea or on Instagram.

One Kings Lane photo shoot...

 I spent the first part of this week getting ready and doing a two day shoot with One Kings Lane for our upcoming Taste Maker Tag Sale.  I am very excited!!  This is just a little bit of the behind the scenes from the shoot.  So many wonderful vintage pieces and a bunch of pillows!  Thank you as always to OKL for being so great!
